A DROP OF JOY

The summer heat longing to pass
                    Seeing thirsty lives,

The hot bickering filling
                   All the narrow thoughts

Deep within when man
                   Bears the fruits of sorrow,

Earth is hot and sighing
The cold sky cools it down.

And in the deep chasm of grief
                   The spring gets churned up,

The summer heat seems
                   To glide away and die,

The huge doors of sky open
                   As in a magic, someone

Turns a trick in its key-hole,
                   In a sudden bang,

The cluster of clouds raising slogans
                   Of joy and merriment

The rays of light, capsules of jewels
                   Form the urns of diamonds

Alas! It’s a blissful joy that falls

           The first rain drops.
