        Some one                                       

        Seems unseen

         From an unheard cosmos

        Beckons me……

        Come, join me  –

        Put thee into me –

        I pledge

        In turn

        Thousands of years                                                                

        To thee –

-      Oh! Sure, take away

All that of me;

My hands…..my legs….

My head and soul…….

And whatever

Ear-marked

 And adorned with my label -

But, no!

Not my heart that throbs……

I’d live

Though for a while;

And my heart be

With no bond stamped on it;

And no bandage wrapped on it.
